The High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D.) turret is a piece of the Foundation's most highly advanced technology. The weapon was created to effectively halt SCP-106, should it breach containment and reach Gate A.

The turret takes a moderate time to recharge after firing, albeit the speed of SCP-106 makes up for this shortcoming.
Here's an example of it in game:

so wait, is this suposed to work specifically for that dum scp thingimabob, or do you want to turn it into a proper weapon of sorts?

that doesn't answer my question though
what the hell are you even trying to make it do
from what i can see its meant specifically for that one thing
how would it work in bl

It would probably check if players in a specific firing range have some sort of something that says "Hey! I'm SCP-106!" and fire at it.

no, I don't want it for that. A player can control it.

So you want a HID turret that works like a tank turret, maybe we could also make some bot events that
checks if players in a specific firing range have some sort of something that says "Hey! I'm SCP-106!" and fire at it.

but you want it to be mainly player-controlled.

Yes, or it could be a player type instead.

-nvm forgot what board this is-

a laser beam type of weapon would be cool

maybe have a remote control item that when activated, controls your own HID turret?
