Author Topic: What is the point of an overpriced "gaming" mouse  (Read 5522 times)

You know the ones, those which looks like it comes straight from a sci-fi armor or robot, that have some weird buttons and stuff

I mean honestly I can't find the reason why some people just waste their money on something orverpriced like that when a normal mouse could do the job perfectly for gaming, I use the same microsoft mouse for over 5 years and it still works like new and it gives me a great precision for gaming

its because they try to lure in idiots by making their mice look edgy

I think we're really stretching the use of the word "edgy" at this point

because they are contoured to rest your hand and have better sensitivity or some stuff

I mean really, this mouse has a lot of edges

that observation is very edgy

My mouse has 17 buttons. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yeah that's a great reason to spend 100$, 200$ or even more on a mouse...

I spent ten dollars on my mouse and the only reason I bought it was for a back and forward button on the side.

no

edge

Well who doesn't want a mouse that looks like it can be a transformer?

Honestly though, they do kinda go overboard.

hey if you want a mouse that is:
-american made (maybe)
-has a thumb rest
-has a pinky rest
-has good sensitivity
-has keys you can program
then you're not going to spend like $20

it's for showing off, same reason people buy those ridiculous computer cases with lights and other stuff they don't need

then again there's this
here

One of my friends  has that mouse, it's actually pretty nice.

Anyone with a common sense would use the money of that overpriced mouse to buy other things that are actually useful, like upgrading the computer with a new graphics card, hell you can even buy a good phone with 200$
