Author Topic: Would Call of Duty be better if it was 3rd person?  (Read 871 times)

I honestly think multiplayer would be better like that

so you can see your bullets not registering in 3rd person

play mw2's 3rd person mode to see for yourself

(protip: it doesn't)

MW2 and MW3 had third person modes, I actually thought they were pretty fun and made for some neat gametypes.

wasnt MW3 only in 1 thing though

3rd person in MW2 was sweet and I wish they had it in BLOPs II

I cant remember, I just did private matches with friends using it.

The FOV on CoD makes my brother motion sick lol

you want a bad fov?

try the first borderlands

"try"

played that stuff for several weeks and that's why I turned into an FOV national socialist

Would stuff taste better if it was spray-painted purple?

mw2 third person was cool, but it was strange when "aiming down the sights", as the crosshairs dont go incredibly constricted to indicate that your accuracy cone has shrunk

This was probably the biggest problem with it. Other than that though it worked really well in MW2 and MW3 in my opinion. Im not sure if MW2 had this feature, but in MW3 you could also switch shoulders which was really cool. Sucks that it wasnt in BO2 or Ghosts.
