the only con i know in san francisco is APE, which is cool, and i think there's an Image expo that happens in the east bay but i think it's press only, kinda like GDC. in any case, all these damn cons are in like LA or seattle and it's pissin me off

I went to a comic con in philly once, was pretty cool.  our friend had a press pass so we got in free and skipped all the lines for stuff.  I got to see all of the captains from the Star Trek series, and they were smashed.
