Author Topic: Forum restrictions vote!  (Read 5441 times)

Well we all know how bad the n00bs are getting, they seem to completely ignore the help section and start making threads in the most stupidest places. I would like to start a vote on the Newbie rank not allowed to start threads in the Files and Miscellaneous boards, this should obviously force them to make threads in the right places.

The only downfall is that new members won't be able to make new threads in the Files and Miscellaneous boards, but that's not a bad thing.

I'm completely, 100% with this idea.

Currently it seems like Badspot is trying for the idealism of communism. Kinda doesn't work.

I may be getting it wrong but I had about 3 minutes to understand how it works so...

Anywho, you have my vote!

Or noobs cant post for a week (but they can view)

That's a bit too far don't you think? Crossing the line a little there.

Only restrictions on the Add-ons forums, Drama, Community Projects and especially Clans!

That will fix this forum for the better.

Make it so they can't create topics for 1-2 days as well. Should help stop some spam bots.

I have never seen a spam bot post here

Heres an idea, make it so you can only make one new thread a day in the clans board.
Or even better, actually start banning people who repeatedly post in the wrong sections.
Or maybe we need to make the board titles bigger?

Just Otis' Pepsi PMs.

P.S: Clan Forum needs harsh lock downs.

Ok, how about you can only have one thread(per person) in it, ever.

Allow drama , ban topics on everthing packer said.

Not drama, it's noobs talking about how some guy tried to teach the grammar and they thought it was "hrasemant"

Good idea.

Just limit how frequently they can post / create topics.  1 new topic per day / every 2 days, 5 posts a day...something like that.

A topic a day is too much. Even I only create topics around once a month.

The only restriction I want is hiding off-topic, archived and drama forums from viewers who aren't logged in.
