Author Topic: Musical Instruments Project - Modeler(s) needed!  (Read 8850 times)

I think that there needs to be more strings at least.  Pretty distinct.  You can sorta get away with using alto sax sounds for tenor, but there are many saxophone players here, and they'd rage over that if they have decent ears.
This. If you want, I can record some notes for an alto sax instrument synth.

Already have the alto sax samples, and I could put together a set of tenor sax samples pretty easily.  The problem with that, though, is ending up with way too many sounds.  This is an issue of both filesize and datablock count.  The way this is probably going to end up working is someone will make one saxophone model, and it will use the one sound set.

We need a French horn and a Baritone (As in the smaller tuba, not the love sax)

Can you guys teach me how to model :)

How about them hurdy gurdies.  :P

Brass instruments are overly hard to model.

Holy balls that looks good.  Give it to Port.

This is cool, I would like to help Model

Wow, nice Annoying Orangeet.  If you think brass is hard, take a look at a saxophone, especially Bari.

Cleaned her up a bit:

I really like what you did with the smooth shading there!

Color some parts of it like the mouthpiece.

the mouthpiece of the Annoying Orangeet is the same color.
I should correct myself, it's usually gold or silver.

But then again, it looks cute when it's just gold.
