I love how you're so backed into a corner you're trying to deflect everything and make it about everyone else. You have (rather, had) the opportunity to accept that what you were uninformed and what you were saying was wrong and just move on, and you completely ignored it in favor of spewing hostilities and generally making a fool of yourself.

Nobody is on your side in this. He was not a threat. He was in no position to attack the cops, and the cops had nonlethal takedown methods at their disposal.
