I don't get why microsoft don't give you the option to use the new metro thing as a replacement for the desktop background, I would use that.

Unless if you can do that?

putting this on my laptop asap

i put windows 8 on my laptop recently just for the hell of it, and while i have no issue using the new start menu it's just really only fit for mice and touchscreen use.  using it with a trackpad just doesn't really go well for me.
