Author Topic: Why do teachers pull the "No Wikipedia!!!" card?  (Read 4281 times)

@OP: Go to a library library and see if they access to the gale database or something. You can print search up academic journals pieces from text books which also include a source citation.

"these days"? You are 20 years old. Stop acting so pretentious.
You would be how many so called experts and liars are out there. I could go to /pol/ on 4chan and come back and then write a paper on how Riddler did nothing wrong.

My teacher doesn't want us to use wikipedia because
they think it's inaccurate because anyone can edit it

im not ok with you now

My opinion towards Setro is neutral.

Well, carol, you aren't in any position to give off grammar lectures. You're missing the capitalization of every single sentence.
Just because I neglect to capitalize my sentences does not mean I am not allowed to criticize poor grammar. Indeed, I prefer to leave my sentences without capitalization. This is because, in my opinion, a lack of capitalization provides a more laid-back tone when communicating through text (as well as conveying a more relaxed personality); however, if you would prefer that I address you with proper capitalization, that can most certainly be arranged.

I'm not going to force you to use capitalization on your sentences but, IMO, not using capitalization would be in a sarcastic/silly tone. Capitalizing the first letter being in a laid-back tone AND FULL CAPS BEING FULL RAGE MODE. But of course, we all have our own opinions.

I convey a joking tone by purposefully misspelling my words (i.e "you" becomes "u," "the" becomes "hte," etc.). Using no capitalization is my relaxed tone, and I try to avoid capitalization unless it's necessary.

When I started posting here, I used to have proper grammar.
then it all went to hell
i still use it in formal things tho
