Author Topic: Microsoft eHome Infared Transceiver Problem  (Read 1132 times)

A while ago I made a help topic saying my Apostrophe key didn't work, to which I was directed to the FAQ page and felt like an idiot. As much as uninstalling the driver worked, I'm having a new problem.

The driver automatically reinstalls itself.

Is there any way to prevent this? Having to uninstall a driver every time I start up Blockland gets really irritating really fast. /discuss

That link is a bit confusing, but I'll try disabling the driver instead of uninstalling it.

noedit: Can't disable. Gonna look over the link again.

Multi-post: I don't have an IR receiver.

This is from when I had the issue in 2010, but it should still work:

I don't have an ITECIR driver. I did everything else, though. Gonna check to see if this worked.

Alright, it worked! Locking.

One additional note: it didn't work, the driver still reinstalls itself, but it doesn't seem to affect Blockland now. Okay, NOW I'm locking.
