Author Topic: mass stabbing at pittsburgh school, 20 injured  (Read 4762 times)

we shouldn't ban nukes and biological warefare because people can always kill each other with piano wire
we shouldn't ban nukes bc the fact that everyone has them is the only thing keeping us from using them

32 school shootings alone this year

like 20 of those are only on that list because they were in the parking lot/"near" the school, 3 were Self Deletes, 4 had no injuries or fatalities, 2 involved bb guns, and the actual number of those where the fact that it was a school is relevant is like 3

and 25 had no fatalities (and as stated 3 that did were Self Deletes, plus two were police shootings and like another 1 or 2 had deaths that weren't students/faculty)

doesn't matter that people didn't die, people still got injured

What if canada makes a supride attack and the millitarry cant act fast enough.
I thought about this once.

All metal and silver knives should be banned and replaced with rubber knives.

So what you're saying is that we only really care if they're directly in a school blasting children away, rather than having guns in and around areas populated with children or killing/injuring themselves or other civilians?

How do you even try to justify the fact that on numerous occasions people have brought, and fired, live firearms near children?

i'm kind of on the fence about gun control, I guess?
I wouldn't mind if there were more restrictions on obtaining firearms.
I would've said I wouldn't mind if there was a total ban, but people enjoy hunting.

well I'm sure you can until a guy runs through your school with a knife

Maybe it's because I'm a wimp and easily scared, but if someone stabbed someone near me, my first instinct would be "get away from the very dengar danger" and not "try to disarm/disable the stabber and risk getting stabbed too"

no im saying its freakin stupid to say there were 32 shootings when the fact that it was a school wasnt even relevant in 2/3s of the cases

oh big woop you shot a gun near a kid if you take your kid to a firing range that happens too (unless youre trying to imply that i want to justify murder?)

if youre trying to say that guns shouldnt be allowed within 500 feet of children or something dumb good luck enforcing that lol

guys there are already too many guns in merica we should ban them

oh stuff mass stabbing ban knives too

You can argue about whether or not guns and other weapons should be controlled, but maybe we should think of solutions to prevent kids from murdering each other. It's clear that people are always going to get their hands on a weapon somehow.

Maybe if there was a program that could encourage the importance of mental health, and that seeing a therapist or psychiatrist doesn't make you a nutjob. So far there's a big misconception that talking about your feelings makes you sound like a wimp.
