Here's how it works:

MySQL database server <---(SQL commands)---> IDMP server <---(JSON commands)---> Tomcat web server <---(HTTP)---> Web browser

So the web server on :3002 does not communicate directly to MySQL.

Well sorry but I am not going to modify the structure.
Is it really harder to just connect with plain TCP and send and receive JSON, rather than HTTP?
