3rd Army, 11th Army, 10th Army and 4th Army enter Northern Poland, establishing the Belorussian Front. These forces are now titled the Belorussian-Polish Army Region. The BPAR is headed by Komandarm 2nd rank Mikhail Kovalyov.
5th Army, 6th Army and 12th Army enter Southern Poland, establishing the Ukrainian Front. This force is the Ukranian-Polish Army Region. The UPAR is headed by Komandarm 1st rank Semyon Timoshenko.
