This post is not really helpful and wont change people, so it's up to YOU and your friends to actually do something instead of shoving it to other people! Try to create new and interesting quality servers!

I just started a server, built on this island I made recently. It's up now, as a TDM, but TBH it's rather bland. I'm going to make it better soon though.

For no one to join.

There hasn't been a good freebuild in years because all the kids who play this game don't know how to build and leave if you don't have the brick or gun addons they want so they can shoot you while you build things.

Also kids don't know how to balance tdms anymore. Also kids won't join servers that differ from what they're used to. Also kids don't join servers where you have to get good at the gameplay to have fun. Actually scratch that that's a rule for everyone.

I would say there's more variety since the knife tdm and falling platform fads seem to have died down. However there's more good empty servers.

You're not helping yourself with your stuffty renderman server.
It's like getting everyone to save the lions but then killing one straight after, it just makes no sense.
