Author Topic: Arch brick?  (Read 2054 times)

Hey, I was curious to see if anyone could make an arch brick. Not a typical arch, rather a tall arch. One that is 2 - 4 bricks tall and extends about 2 or 3 bricks wide. Also could it be rounded like the 1x1 round brick that comes with Blockland.

Sorry if this request has already been made, I searched and couldn't find anything about it.

Thanks!

Why not build an arch, you know with bricks?

Because it is a fairly high arch which I am going for a more circular shape rather than a square and static shape.

you can still do it?.....

Circular, not a square box like thing. I don't mean to be critical of anyone, but Lego has an arch like that. It comes in halves and would work perfectly for my request.

Thanks

Sorry to double post however here's what I am looking for.

Why cant you build that with bricks?

Because he wan't it to be circular.
I've always hated round bricks, too much faces to render which further increases lag.
I think there are like 18 faces on one of those small pegs, compared to the 6 a cube has.

Could anyone make or tell me how to make this brick to look somewhat like the picture.

It does not have to have those little decorative swirls on the bottom parts.

Thanks!

its not gonna happen.

Why's that?

he might mean that if you dont know how to program 3d models already, no ones gonna really be able to just tell you how in one post...

i know what you mean about the arch piece. its a very good and functional brick. you could make one out of different slopes though. start with a straight one, then use a -72 degree one on top of that, then go to -45, then -25 then flatten out to horizontal, and do the same on the other side! :D

still not round, but not as blocky as using all squares. :)

The one with the bricks already there is still not curvy enough. I don't mean to be picky however I am just looking to make my build as lifelike as possible.

Thanks

i dont know, but ive heard it say that you can make objects for this game in a program called 'milk shape'...

never used it, bot you could check it out if you want. :)
