Can't watch the video but I saw it yesterday. IMO Seabrook did it on purpose. He is seen bracing for impact ahead of time and jumps towards his (Backes') head. I don't have an opinion on duration of suspension though.

Zdeno Chára laughing at Brendan Smith because he wants to fight him.

Why would Smith want to even talk to Chara? He's at least 8 inches shorter.

Ha.  The ref looks like he's laughing too.

He was suspended for 3 games. I think it's fitting.

3 consecutive shots by the pens results in 3 goals in only 2:10 of play. Talk about clutch in the 3rd period!

My predictions so far are going great besides the amount of games the series would take and the blackhawks losing.

Sorry for falling behind there. I've updated everything. Keep voting!

that poll is loving rigged

columbus was moved to the pittsburgh spot

also, i don't think boston will beat the canadiens. montreal plowed through tampa.

Oh, I think when I removed Tampa Bay it moved the others up. I think I can fix it.

EDIT: I think I fixed it.

The St. Louis Blues' playoffs so far are almost EXACTLY like last years, it's extremely eerie.. Look at this:

St. Louis Blues Playoffs

2013 Round 1 Series versus the defending champs L.A. Kings
Game 1:  Steen scores game winning goal in overtime
Game 2:  Jackman scores game winning goal late in 3rd period
Game 3:  Blues out-shoot Kings by 9, but get shutout
Game 4:  Blues give up 3-2 lead and lose 4-3
Game 5:  Kings lead 1-0, then Blues tie 1-1, then Kings lead 2-1, then Blues tie 2-2, then Kings win 3-2 in overtime

2014 Round 1 versus the defending champs Chicago Blackhawks
Game 1:  Steen scores game winning goal in overtime
Game 2:  Jackman scores game winning goal in overtime
Game 3:  Blues out-shoot Blackhawks by 9, but get shutout
Game 4:  Blues give up 3-2 lead and lose 4-3
Game 5:  Blackhawks lead 1-0, then Blues tie 1-1, the Blackhawks lead 2-1, then Blues tie 2-2, then Blackhawks win 3-2 in overtime
  • The Blackhawks' lucky overtime goal is scored when Keith slaps the puck off of Shaw's shin guard, bouncing all the way down the ice to Toews who gets a breakaway and scores
  • The Blues' tying goal to take the game to overtime is scored by Pietrangelo, assisted by Schwartz

In both series, the Blues faced the defending Stanley cup champions. In both series, the Blues had home ice advantage.

History is repeating. How about the Blues write the next chapter and make this textbook a little more interesting?

Also, the Red Wings have been eliminated.

Tampa is terrible, and Boston only lost one game.

Boston will get by them very easily.

Erm, now it says I voted for the rags...

Its like you hate me

I bet 10 grand on the ravens. Ray Lewis is a monster
