This thread is spaghetti stuff brains autism.
It's just a 14 yo who just wanted to make a joke. She didn't even mention that the "big thing" she was going to do had anything to do with terrorism. Al-Qaeda members do other things besides killing people. There is literally no evidence that points towards her making a threat of blowing up a plane except maybe for the Al-Qaeda thing, which is wrong because she doesn't hide in a cave somewhere with other terrorists.
Also on people commenting on her stupid behavior: What would you do in the situation yourself? You're going to be arrested for a joke and your parents will know. You might never be able to use the internet because of this butthurt airline company that can't take a joke nor realize that no one who tries to sneak a bomb trough an airport security check will warn about it ahead of time.
This reminds me a lot of the case where that one kid was arrested for a life sentence for making a "threat" on facebook about shooting up a school when in fact he said "lol jk" in the same post disclaiming everything he had said.
tonkka are you serious
the company is responsible for a stuffton of lives being rocketed around in tin cans every waking hour, they're supposed to be "butthurt" about it and tell the FBI to make sure their customers don't die or get cut off.
i didn't know there was something wrong with basic threat response.
If your "basic threat response" system is so bureaucratic (and somehow not because nothing in her "threat" actually says that she will kill people and everything else is just blatantly false information) and paranoid that you send the FBI after a 14-year old called Sarah and Ibrahim who lives in the Netherlands and Afghanistan, your system is stuff.
There's no point in arguing about this though, because loads of people have started spamming the airliners twitter with similar threats, which just means that "hundreds of man hours are wasted hunting down these terrible terrorists!".
