a little tiny update; day 3!

and some added features/bug fixes!

Zombies and animals respawn a set amount of time after dieing.
The server list now has scrollbar support. Pinging servers is done based on what servers are on your screen.
Reduced bandwidth especially for vehicles.
Loot density is much higher in areas such as the military base and militia zones.
Created functionality for the veteran hat icon.
im glad that zombies now respawn ^.^

and he also said it MIGHT be greenlit on the 16/5/14 greenlight batch (or 5/16/14)

Above you can see some of the other new things such as the ability to rotate the character, wizard cloaks and the bayonet. Also all recoil is massively buffed now that there is recoil recovery. [The grip/bipod/angled are fixed from making recoil practically non-existent, the values were off by a decimal point. ]

Unturned 2 is currently getting beaten out of the #5 slot by "Miscreated" which ironically is another similar game. It doesn't look like it really has much gameplay in place and is in pre-alpha, so I am not worried. Maybe we can still surpass them though!

The past couple days I brushed up on my C++ to make implementing the Steam API easier, and actually learned some new programming techniques in the process. I have also decided that the veteran Steam key may need to be put on hold, as Steam might not be happy if I ask for 30,000 keys for something not on sale. Gold memberships will, of course, still carry over.

Tomorrow I will work on some of the aspects of the game that could use a bit of embellishing which you guys have pointed out.


I would laugh if steam didn't accept it because of him being a richard and taking and game off until it got greenlit
cause really that's just being a starfish and pretty much forcing your community to vote for it or else the game will never be available to anyone.

This is probably it. Not really surprised if so. Deserves it, but I'd prefer it didn't happen.

so is he going to keep it unreleased if it's not on steam store after this point?

i think one of the reasons it didnt get greenlit is because it is kinda underdeveloped... just look at it..

People would think this was game of the year if it had better graphics.

"I will try and get it hosted for you guys to start playing again sometime in the next few days as a "pre-Steam" release. You can play it as normal reporting bugs like the beta, but I will also begin developing more content again instead of only patching stuff."
