Author Topic: I think I may have messed up my avatar...  (Read 24323 times)

This is the opposite of a problem

What programs are you guys using? Paint doesn't work.

Atomshock's avatar, however, may easily be more than 9x...

What web browser are you using?

Yes! It finally works!
I had an error earlier because I was converting .bmp to .ico. I found out that most online converters handle .png better.

I will remove the blue background later.

I'm glad I'm using IE right now.
don't have to deal with these ridiculous huge avatars.

That was taken in IE, which I usually browse with.

I am using Chrome specifically for this thread, just to see if any more people use huge avatars.

This post makes me sad.

Cheesedragon has a huge avatar too now, but he has yet to post in this thread.

Guise, I changed it to ico with an online converter but I can't upload it! halp! It's 256x256.
Gah, it stays at 64x64. Someone show me their magic!

I want to get myself a big avatar, but I'm concerned as to whether or not Badspot will ban for this stuff.

Considering the pagestretch it can cause ( see bottom page 12 ), it's very possible

most mega-avatars are just small errors, but Atomshock and Hammereditor appear like that to me.

First, save the initial avatar as a 256x256 .png.
Second, use this converter:
http://www.coolutils.com/online/image-converter/

so can the avatar be any size with this?
or does it have to be 256X256?

Limit is supposedly 256x256
