Big Rigs over the road racing

Burnout paradise

Next Car Game

flatout
trackmania
idk if next car game is on steam but ye

test drive unlimited 2 has a nice selection of cars

although they drive weird and and so is the voice acting so i treat it more as a virtual garage than a game

it is pretty unrealistic (which is my thing)
I will never, ever understand this outlook. Realistic racing games are so god damn boring.

If Driver: San Francisco is on Steam (not sure and can't check atm), I go for that 100%.
im pretty sure it is

what

lol, its just that my friend is a real invester in cars and such and is dazzled of how I have no knowledge of them, and how I cannot be interested of them.

then you must be playing the wrong games

i can't remember a time when i got bored doing 2 hour races in a Cadillac CTS-VR

Sounds kinda boring  :cookieMonster:

Totally not as boring as 30 lap Nurburgring runs

Split/Second is probably the most fun I've ever had with a video game. Controls feel responsive, everything's fast, hitting opponents with traps is satisfying as hell, and that music on the elite races is some of the most empowering stuff ever. It's not a very challenging game, in fact it's really kinda simple simple, but god damn the presentation and game feel is fantastic.

If watching that gets you interested, know that it's like a hundred times more fun to actually play. It's not on steam, but here's an amazon link for the PC version.

Though not quite as exciting, I've also had some fun with Burnout Paradise and Blur, and those are on steam.

There is this game called Distance which is a sequel of that game called Nitronic Rush

It might be available to pre-order on steam soon I suppose, but the first game was pretty fun so I expect this one to be even better
