Author Topic: Opinions on Bronies?  (Read 9933 times)

It's okay if they like the show, but forcing it down my throat is not okay, on the flip side, it isn't really okay to pointlessly bash bronies to like the show unless otherwise provoked bye a brony, and even then, I'd just bash that particular brony, and not generalize the entire fandom.

I admit, I do watch the show, but I don't call myself a brony. I just think that's a dumb way of saying you watch the show. I don't collect merchandise because I honestly don't need it and I think it's kind of annoying to see. And, as for all fandoms, there are always those over the top ones that have to brag and boast and shove it down everyone's throats, then there are the neckbeards that act cool about it, then there are the ones who ship, then there are the ones who masturbate to it, who make the rest look bad. That's why I hate most of them but appreciate the ones that try not to say anything about it.

I have 3 friends at my school who are bronies. One always wears the shirts and somehow has a lot of girlfriends, the second one always tries to make people know that both him and I are bronies which I try to tell him not to do, and the third just made everybody else know I was a brony because I told him I became one and he basically screamed it to the whole school. I should be lucky I'm not judged for that.

I used to be half brony and half furry but then I started to hate them and eventually I got to 100% furry

I don't care what sort of brony someone is, their existence provides support for the freaks.

Bronies are okay imo, unless if they are saying stuff like "omg if u dont liek mlp den u suk!1!!!!" or something like that. I used to be a brony, until I saw what the community I was in was doing, like how that one lady named her kid after two characters, ugh.
i used to be one too until i heard about that friend that married a twilight sparkle plushie.
Cmon, they've taken it way too far.

Bronies seem to have disappeared after the season 3 finale.

I've never met a brony in real life, or at least someone who's said that they were
or at least know what one is

But over the internet, most seem to keep whatever it is to themselves and seem to be pretty nice most of the time.
There's always going to be that loud, obnoxious group of nutjobs who silence out the rest of the fandom with weird stuff.

The whole thing seems really odd, but I guess others would see the same way of me being a furry.

I personally dislike the show because it's not a show for me, a grown ass man. If people my age like it, good for them, I honestly don't give a stuff. But when they feel it necessary to go around and "present" their fandom to me, I will loving go ballistic.

A brony is a man of an older age that likes 'that show' to the point where they feel it necessary to display their fandom to everybody. If you asked me how I feel about them, I could say without hesitation that I would not mind if they just died. For one, none of them can display a good reason why they like the show (although I think we all already know why). The artwork, the story, the characters have absolutely nothing special about them. It's completely blatant that it was a show intended for young kids, although it seems the creators have 'accepted' it's older audiences and have decided to cater to them as well. It's honestly nothing to revel over like bronies do.

Now it's gotten to the point where their fandom, their fan art, just the entire 'sub species' has become a tired and old joke.
It's time to grow the forget up.

(And for the record, a brony is a furry. Don't try and deny it)

Neck beards don't count.

I hate how the most popular topic in the whole blockland forums by far has absolutely nothing to do with blockland and rather about a mediocre children's cartoon.

forget, I meant to add that. I said it in my head but didn't type it.

And I don't have a neckbeard.

just like any fandom, bronies have the spergs that try to force it upon everyone and makes the rest of the fandom look bad

Tell that to the feminine masculine guys.

I hate all of you horse, dog, and bird forgeters on this forum and elsewhere.
