Author Topic: downgrading to windows 7?  (Read 3666 times)

im thinking of downgrading to windows 7 and im not sure if i should do it or not
post your opinions on windows 8 and seven as i spend an hour in the corner of my room thinking if i should or not

imo; for now it's upgrading, every single time

Windows 8 is nice though after you install a start menu. :(
I recently switched to 8.1 after using WIndows 7 forever and I'm really liking it.

my only concern is that the key wont work on the same computer i had it on before
am i able to install it on the same computer again?

IMO, you should. Windows 8 is slower than 7 (maybe that is because I run it on a toaster) and you need to install a start menu.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able. The key will expire after it is used on 5 systems. Otherwise, you can call Microsoft and explain to them.

switching to windows 8 atm
because my start orb doesn't work after countless tries to fix it

and i don't feel like reinstalling windows 7 with that disc i have in my cabinet, so much stuff to keep mane

so you PIRATED IT

Go to 7, it's better imo.

what

windows 7 comes on a disc... what implies that it's pirated?

no. my dad has a windows 8 installation disc from work that he brought for me a long time ago
windows 8 was pretty lame tho at that time lol

8 has way better resource management, as I'm told by a guy who uses it
the interface takes getting used to but if your going to be playing games you should stick with it for a while longer

Downgrade. Downgrade? Think about that definition...

No, you should not downgrade. 8.1 is cleaner (looks wise, IMO), it's faster, had a better task manager, you have the option of using the apps, which can be kinda useful at times (I love how you can split up the screen into two segments), and if you don't like the metro UI, just get something to put back the start menu.

fix your pc. Like, urgently

if you hate change and are one of those idiots who try to make windows 8 look like 7, then you should get windows 7. i heared windows 7 is great for people who want windows 7. i could be wrong though!

Windows 8 was so much faster when I upgraded. Not only that, the design took a while to get used to but it was worth it in the end! I absolutely love Windows future vision.
