I've heard of this. I don't have an Xbox controller though

They should make blockland for the actual XBox

no. Building would be a nightmare, not enough buttons.

Missed light key, walk (c) key, Self Delete combination and perhaps a enter key. All could be used on D-Pad vertical/horizontal axis.
Then you could assign the D-Pad diagonal axis on numbers 1-4 for building. While this would not really fix the fact that you wouldn't be able to build well at all, you will be able to build bricks 1-4 as long as you place them correctly from the beginning (otherwise just keep placing them until they work) and place them with the D-Pad enter.
In another scenario, maybe there could be a way to "toggle" between building and playing mode, in which case you could take advantage of having more buttons availible for building? You could have the back button switch between toggles, if that would be possible.

Using programs like this for Blockland will never work well enough to make the game playable.

i will try to assign some useful stuff to the D-pad.
EDIT: Finished. I couldn't put the numpad enter though, just the regular enter.

Version 2 released!

+D-pad now more useful.
+Added enter key to back button.

What if you change any button function (x button), and make its function 'change to build mode'
making the buttons' function change

for example:
LT would be 1
RT would be 3

LB 7
RB 9

and the +, the up button 8
the down button 2
the left button 4
the right button 6

and L3 can be 5
and R3 can be super shift

And then press the x button again and change back to normal mode?

it would be more efficient to just have 1 or 2 buttons that scroll through bricks and the rest are for building ^

but seriously

I had a controller profile setup and was playing Badspot's SpeedKart with my Xbox controller about half a year ago.

I made this recently for Steam - appropriate to share here I think
