I went and built some basic and simple houses for my new town, just to start up the residential part of it. Right here I'm going to show you them so you can tell me what to work on:

Also, what might do well in one of the gardens is a small shed. Just add a bit more flavour to the gardens.

If your going to add houses near a Industrial area, maybe make them Slum Apartments or something that isn't too eco-friendly.. That seems kinda odd btw... But, nice houses Score!

they aren't that close, like the 2 apts across the street from the factory

Still, IRL most wouldn't move near those factories.. for example, Wind currents can change. Then, blow towards or near the houses, causing the soot from those smokestacks to go toward them...

But still, nice job.

pretty much this, the white lines going across the sides of the house to not look good, and it's all one texture
