Author Topic: The <WORST> 3D models you've ever made?  (Read 15609 times)

Post any 3D models you're ashamed to admit you created, old or new.

No posting other people's models. Seriously. Don't do it.

A couple entries of mine...

Tesselation? What's that?

Yes tak, this is exactly how faces work, definitely

Just a disproportionate clusterforget of ugly shapes

Last one actually looks nice

The original version of my Snowmobile probably isn't my worst model, but it's definitely up there

once upon a time, i used Milkshape

edit: god damn, i should post my old ms3d folder in the you cringe you lose thread. i don't even know why I still have these models

Hehe, I've got plenty of them.

First completed car in Sketchup:

Second completed car, the only good thing about it is the wheel design. Except it's from Kaje's Blocko Car, so that shouldn't count:

An attempt at making something more modern, as in late 80's-early 90's modern:

I've made some awful crap in Blender too:

This one's so bad, I recently ended up deleting it. Simply, there was nothing salvageable about this car:

The original version of the Microbus should have never seen the light of day:

I finished this car, but never released it. I think I made a sensible decision there:

I should have some more stuff lying around, but this should be enough for the time being.

My very first model was a car named Pompe

And well... Yeah, it even had a bunch of different variations

I think you and the rest of the forums have a very different opinion on what a "bad" 3D model constitutes. They aren't perfect, but in my book they're definitely release-worthy.

Those are all pretty damn good. You should continue em.

Basically, everything I made before a certain point is just really bad...

This was the first only gun I made in Blender vv

forget if I know

Panzerfaust-ish

I was trying out low poly...

Okay, this one was a joke. I think...

entrepreneur  My Gun was a sad time in my life...

Yeah...

is this a joke?

No, I was being serious. Some of the things there are pretty old.

I could spend hours on pointing out the flaws with each and every posted model. While objectively they might not be as awful as I made them out to be, but personally I don't think they are my finest work either.

The main issue I'm having with these is the awkward proportions and the inappropriate size; bear in mind some of those cars are dating back to 2010-2011. I'm sure I'd do a lot of things differently now, in fact the Microbus recently received a major overhaul, and the car in the last picture is getting some beauty treatment too.
