Skillcape perks are being pushed tomorrow.
It looks as if the Smithing skillcape gives probably one of the worst bonuses, acting as goldsmith gauntlets when equipped.

But what's the point???
all goldsmith gauntlets do is give you more XP when you smith gold bars, but when you're at 99 you don't need more XP.
(Unless you're trying to get 200m XP, but even then there are far better ways to get XP.)

I guarantee in a week they're going to poll something different for the Smithing cape.  I'd imagine something along the lines of being able to get a hammer from it five times a day, or even better.
