Div is only useful at extremely high levels so you can make portents to use instead of signs so the pocket slot can be used for something else

but considering that's at I think 92+ why even bother

the highest quest requirements are 75 and 80 for Fate of the Gods and The Light Within, have fun with those if you plan to keep up on 6a lore.

I'm honestly not even sure what divination is. I've read about it but it's kind of confusing

I have 80 div and I can say that it is a really useless skill. Only reason I even bothered with it was to get the new seren spells/prayers and I've never used it since nor do I plan to. Really the only thing useful are the signs of porters which can send certain items to your bank, but if you have 96 summoning for a pack yak or magic notepaper, it's useless.
