you're insane
Still waiting on your reasoning. While you're at it, read my previous post and give me at least a somewhat mathematical or scientific reason that it doesn't work.
By the way, you're going to have to show that all 10 pentillion planets definitely don't have life; I have to show that just 1 out of those almost certainly has life. tg
what is this thread turning into anymore
-tristan suggests solar system is a screen(?)
-disproves his own theory
what am i just reading this wrong
You read it wrong, I was just giving a comparison.

you know its kind of hilarious you wrote up this tirade a while ago and called religious people crackheads and now youve gone 180 degrees and are running around screaming about something you cant prove

Well, I believe in creation, so no I dont think there are sentient beings out there. But I do believe there are micro organisms on other earth like planets.

technically creationism falls under an alien intelligence belief.
as them creating us and putting us here isnt much different then a god.

even WE have the know how and ability to custom create living things (or alter)
but that dosnt say evolution isnt happening as well.

we've altered things plenty of times
I mean
there are even foods specifically labeled as non-GMO because of how common it is

You can't definitely prove it. At least not with current technology.
But with the size of the observable (plus however big the unobservable) universe is, the astounding number of planets out there, and the number of planets we've already found that are capable of supporting life, it's the most logical conclusion

For forget's sake that was 3 YEARS AGO. You can't prove anything either, but you're asserting that the chance of aliens existing is exactly zero (even the tiniest sliver of a percent and the sheer number of planets mesns that there's an alien somewhere) while I need to shows that it's above one pentillionth of a chance. I never said that there's 100% certainty that there's aliens.

honestly, the conclusion that we're just an outlier is at least as logical as that

If other aliens absolutely needed the same exact kind of planet to survive on, there would still be a ton of them out there.
But thinking that way would be silly. Other lifeforms more than  likely have different living needs. some could live on volcanic planets, while some could live on ice like planets (I'm simplifying it). Chances are, some lifeforms don't breath the same stuff we do. I mean, look at plantlife. While not (or so we know) sentient, its still a living thing.

So adding in both of those factors, that opens up a lot of planets, not to mention that the universe is massive, maybe even infinite, meaning there are theoretically infinite stars, and infinite planets.

I don't know man, what you just stated in an earlier post makes the assumption that you ARE on crack.

I doubt any intelligent life would manage to come from those volcanic and ice planets you're talking about. everything even remotely intelligent here can't survive under conditions like that

you're insane
You know he was kidding about the screen, right?

It's possible but I doubt it would be any sort of intelligence
