In my town, it rained like hell for almost the exact amount of time it took for me to get from one of my classes to the other. And I had to go outside to get there.

It also rained like hell in the morning, on my way to school

Neither, the storm is just hitting the edges of Alabama, but it is making its way here.

I'm a trained storm chaser.  Weather is my life, particularly bad weather.  It sucks because the worst storms don't hit my county because of its proximity to the heat island effect of St Louis.

I've seen rotating wall clouds a couple times and numerous dust devils.  When I was young, and still remember it, I was riding in the buckle-in bike seat on the back of my dad's bike and we saw a dust devil about 100ft away.  My dad said he was going to ride through it and I started screaming and crying because I was so scared lol

Anyway, I swear I just heard the news say Dallas county is under a tornado warning, but I look outside and it's all blue skies. Am I just too far away, or am I hearing things?

I'm browsing the Doppler velocities on my choice radars.  There are four tornadoes on the ground at the moment, including one "large and extremely dangerous -NOAA" tornado near Brandon, Mississippi.  Watch for Brandon, MS on the news tonight.

i remember the great wind storm of 2007

my friend ran outside to pick up a kiddie pool to put into their house but they were picked up with it and carried across their yard

needless to say they lost their kiddie pool
