this is like fining you five dollars. it really isn't a big deal

also caribou remember when you said you weren't tribal bc I do

I do, and is there an implication that makes you think that I am one?

1st amendment rights say you can have as many ignorant opinions as you want.

I don't know very many people who respond to a little kid talking about MLK by calling MLK "just a preacher" and acting like that undermines his work as a social activist. Either way, you're definitely /something/.

I don't agree with you at all, nobody should be taped in their own home on what they say. What I say in the dining room should stay there. Opinions are opinions, and you shouldn't be punished for having one even if it's negative. I think the real piece of stuff here is his girlfriend. Regardless of what Donald said, he never said anything publicly - it was in his own home. There are a lot of tribals in this world, even ones who aren't white, are you implying that every tribal should be punished?
He's benefiting off of black players.
black people coming to Clippers games are his paychecks.

Are you saying that as long as you're quiet about being tribal you can benefit from black people?
And sure tribals like him can and should be punished from private companies who don't advocate racism.
That lady is a hero, lol.

Closetted racism is everywhere, who knows maybe even the Clinton's are closetted tribals but they dont say anything about it in public. His players signed a contract, and his views should be separated from them playing on the team. To you, the lady is a hero.

you are definitely one

What did I say here which sounded racial to you?

Yeah to any rationally thinking person who doesn't like fake people she was in the right. It would be different if he didn't ride off of the success of black people.

He also signed a contract along with every coach, staff-member, and player in the NBA. Difference is he made an offense.

It's not tribal to believe that MLK was a preacher, it's what he was after all. I just think that other civil rights activists contributed more to the Civil Rights Movement.

The one thing that I find hard to understand is: how in the world is he dating a lady who is half black considering his past?

ftfy, and everything you've said

how in the world is he dating a lady who is half black considering his past?
Why is he coaching a predominantly black sport considering his past?
For the money and pleasure of it.

this is a question i ask myself often about a lot of conservatives i know

my cousin is half-black too and her husband is supporting this guy and usually takes the "tribal" side during a lot of past events like this

My personal theory on the matter is that radical conservatives and tribals have a racial special interest that they are trying suppress through racism, but their suppression creates so much loveual tension that they must find an outlet of some sort. Either that, or they want to spread their white patriarchy fluids and whitewash what little diversity we have here in the United States.

Most owners of sports teams only purchase these teams as an investment, I don't see anything wrong with it. I think someone's professional life and personal life are two different things.

I know what you mean, but I think that it's just some Tea Party members who may run on a basis of racism, and older religious principles.

He would probably speak up about it and call him "pregidious, a bigot, a tribal", you name it. MLK was just a preacher.
It's obvious to anyone that the implication here is that you don't think MLK Jr. was important. You're saying that he was just a preacher, and that all he would do is call Donald Sterling "pregidious[sic], a bigot, a tribal" (with the implication that the guy who doesn't want Black people at his sports games is definitely not tribal).

While disliking MLK alone isn't racism, it's pretty much fool-proof heuristic evidence that you are a tribal.

In other peoples eyes, he was of importance. I didn't say that he was definitely not tribal, I just think that Sterling is just ignorant. I am really at a loss here where I gave proof that I was a tribal. I hope that I'm not missing anything, or taking something out of context.
