Just because you're at the beach?

Beach lifeguarding is almost certainly more demanding.

You're not going to encounter riptides and rocks, or jellyfish and other animals, and you're less likely to have to deal with lost children, or people getting pulled out to sea or down the beach, if you're working at a pool.
