Currently making a roleplay, since bots don't work with slayer: does anyone know of a name visibility distance mod that is stand-alone from slayer?

Bots work with Slayer. Use a Slayer team spawn and set the preferred players in minigame settings. You can use bot events on the spawn.

But they can't join teams, right? The joinTeam event doesn't work with Slayer, or am I just using it wrong?

Hmm, what a shame. It would be nice if the "Custom" setting let them join Slayer teams.

The biggest problem with using bots with slayer: the bots won't detect enemies at all. You have to stand right next to an enemy bot to get them to shoot you, even if you do manipulate their detection distance.

What version of Slayer are you running? This should be fixed in the latest version, 3.8.1. Download here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=256245.0#post_downloads

If you already have that version, try enabling "Use All Players' Bricks".
