Hunger Mod

I've been searching for a while and I can not find a hunger mod that works and has a working download link. I know that some have been made, but if nobody can find one then these are the parameters for making it:

• Hunger is easily checkable, possibly with a chat command.
• Starvation does not instantly kill you. Make it a little slower, like maybe taking away 25 health every 30 seconds when you are starving.
• Doesn't crash the server. This may seem obvious, but it isn't as much so as you'd expect. I have a corpse mod, and people dying without killers tends to crash the server if you don't tell the corpse mod to not drop a corpse (For some reason, using forcekill, kill events, or Self Delete doesn't crash the server, but these two things do/did)
• Uses events. (Optional) Doesn't use food items, uses events. (Wouldn't use up as many datablocks)

Works fine.  I was using that today.

All it seemed to do for me was add random useless events but I didn't understand how it worked very well. Do I need to do something to start it or such, does it not work with slayer, etc, because I didn't see an RTB pref to turn it on nor was there any indication of my hunger level.
