Author Topic: Think of a color and a tool.  (Read 3137 times)

To be fair, while I didn't follow the thing, red hammer was the first one I thought of.

you are supposed to give math questions before giving the question. because "The math sequence of question is needed to keep the associative part of your brain inactive, then suddenly you are asked to name a tool and a color. By culture the majority of people has a subconscious knowledge that associates a hammer to the concept of tool, and red to the concept of color. A very simple answer to a shocking test! We are all the same, after all! Note that this test works in any language where culturally those items are the predominant for those concepts (a lumberjack or a farmer may not answer "hammer" as they are more exposed to different tools)." Well, you were supposed to say "red hammer".
Apparently three of you guys did out of like eight.

We don't have to transparent our answers on page two.

why the red hammer
Because I'm pretty sure that's what everyone's supposed to think of. It was the first and two other people posted it. It might have to do with how we associate red with destruction, perhaps because the hammer is strongly associated with the Soviet which are strongly associated with red, perhaps because the hammer kill icon in Blockland is red.

Blue knife
(a REAL knife not little plebeian butter knives)

pink hammer
same here

while only 3 out of like 8 of us said "red hammer" that is the most popular answer. add in the pink hammers, and i think we're pushing at least 40% of the replies being close to or what we're supposed to say
