Basically you could opt into a beta via steam or a download or something and badspot could release quick fixes on the beta to test and such before releasing them to the main blockland. Kinda like unstable updates on starbound.

Our development isn't large in scale and constant enough to have an experimental system you're suggesting. It would be nice to see, but I don't see it ever happening, considering the way our game works as well.

I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't be able to join any servers that aren't running the same version as you, which would split the community up.

Actually that's only if there's a major change, like how you can't join a v21 server when playing v20.
