Author Topic: Someone Threatened My School  (Read 2778 times)

I'd like to see you say that again if your school blows up
It would make no difference how they approached threats because the students who actually do carry out these kinds of things are intent on making sure they succeed, so they wouldn't be telling people they were going to do it.

I mean, there is still that 1%
Of course.

And that 1% has to go somewhere
They either go to drama or they try to defend themselves against people marching on wall street.

jesus christ murica

If someone here in euro actually made a threat (unlikely) noone would take it seriously.

when I was visiting a school in murica they had my traveling bag searched for bombs lol

I would have done it.

Only if they threatened me though to make it hotter.

That's sick!

creative its about time you admitted what happened to you in the past.

From the school Facebook page:
Quote
Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at [the] High School. Shortly before 9 a.m., administrators there were notified by a student that a threat was written on the bathroom wall in the school. The threat indicated possible violence on Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Since there was no immediate safety threat to students or staff, school remained in session as administrators moved quickly to find the person(s) responsible. Within an hour of being notified of the threat, school administrators had identified the student responsible. That student is now being disciplined per the [the] School District discipline policy.
The kid was arrested though and I doubt he's coming back

It really depends on the threat, but I think any death threats or bomb threats should be handled in a serious manner.

there was a threat one day
and then an arrest like 2 blocks away the next day
;-;

Honestly, if someone's gonna blow or shoot up the school, they're not going to tell anyone. They'll just do it.

unless they do it for the attention
