don't be a handicap and support it just because you had high hopes for it after seeing the fake e3 footage.
The E3 footage wasn't faked...TO AN EXTENT.
Basically, the stuff for E3 and the subsequent Gamescom Demo were all made ingame (not sure how much remains for the final release), but there was a very specific perimeter set where the player wasn't allowed to cross while filming/doing a live show. If you step outside this perimeter, all of the shiny, polish city and gameplay would fall apart. Trains turning at 90 degree angles, horrifying AI pathfinding, building and ped glitches etc.
I wouldn't be surprised if in final release there's pockets of really well done, finished levels, but the rest is very glitchy and possibly empty due to cut content.
I'm not here to rub anything in, and I still have hopes there will be a fantastic game underneath a rough surface, but only time will tell.
