i assume this game is going to do a random access memories, where it was hyped up and leaked, and when people got it the first opinions were very polar, but as time goes on the criticism dies down and people regard it as pretty good.

well if you want a game to look like stuff. run it on lesser hardware. sure it will run easier.

Depends on the qualifier.

It's your garden-variety open sandbox games, which unfortunately these days mostly boil down to movement, shooting and very minor interaction with the environment. Nothing particularly challenging or exciting there.

Wow, that is terrible.
Now i am lucky enough to have a NVidia graphics card, but indeed, the graphical issue is quite damn noticable.
But now i put my options to medium (except for Ambient Occlusion) i have no issue at all.
I did however hear indeed that the game has a lot of problems with AMD graphics cards (probably because it was only "optimized" for Nvidia).
That sucks. :C

It wasn't even possible to play it on AMD systems before AMD had to release their own patch to support it. And even then it crashes every 30 minutes, if not less.

Wow, that is truly terrible, i am sorry for the AMD users and now i kinda wish i hadn't bought it.
Supporting a company that puts out something that works this bad is not a good thing.
Let's hope they fix it (hahaha who am i kidding... :C) or at least do it better next time.

it had a pretty interesting concept and looked great when it was first being shown

the concept is still pretty cool in my opinion but it seems the graphical downgrade and bad optimization is the major craze about the game, and now people are picking out every single bit of bad in the game to make it seem even worse.
