You'll probably want more than 120gb of storage. If you're on this tight of a budget, get a HDD, you can get 2TB for like $80, and then you can add an SSD later
Take out the sound card, onboard sound is just fine
Aftermarket cooler isn't necessary, unless you're overclocking the stock cooler is fine. Same with the extra case fan, my current case has a spot for one, but I've left it empty for over 4 years with no cooling problems
Cooling compound isn't necessary as the fan you selected has it preapplied (a stock cooler will usually also be preapplied, or include a small bottle of it)

Are these peripherals necessary:
Do you really need a headset and speakers?
Do you need a new mouse, or is your current one fine?

processor is kinda gross
This, they're so outdated I didn't think they even sold them anymore
If you want something cheap that's fine, but there are far better options available for same price or maybe a little more if you get something modern

You need to save the build and sent us that link, that link there just us to our own current builds

This card would be bottlenecked by his CPU selection

You need a different build, worse thing I ever seen.

I haven't done much budget building, so someone else should look over this.
But Renderman, here's what I've put together: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/adam487/saved/4BWa
$26.74 more than the build in the op (as long as you don't really need those peripherals) and it'll perform a TON better than what you put up

What do you think about myn?

Im trying to keep in under $600.

Why would you ever get a cpu cooler that costs over twice as much as the cpu itself? Also,
Aftermarket cooler isn't necessary, unless you're overclocking the stock cooler is fine.

That HDD is expensive as forget for its capacity

That PSU has a terrible rating

The Mobo's PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot only runs as x4 (at least I'm pretty sure that's what the x4 in the field means)

The CPU isn't really going to do much for gaming

The video card is probably going to be bottlenecked by all the other weak components

When I constructed my first computer 1 year ago, I used the Newegg TV tutorials:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=RxaVBsXEiok
...they are the best tutorials I have ever seen and it is a must-watch for new builders.

dear god this build is loving terrible, those parts wont even work together

I built a computer for less with a hell of a lot more powerful hardware a couple years ago

ASUS PH867-V Motherboard
Intel Core i7 2600K
MSI GTX-550Ti (Factory Overclocked)
8GB 2600MHz RAM (Kingston I think?)
CoolerMaster Storm Scout case
Intel 520 Series SDD (160GB)
a 600(?)W Silver 90+ rated PSU (dont remember, got rid of the box)
a Rosewill PCI-e Wi-Fi card
an ASUS 22" monitor

and a spare 500GB WD HDD I had sitting around but that's extra

altogether under $800, and this was a while ago, these parts are probably a lot cheaper now

granted you've also got an OS, soundcard, mouse, headset, and case fans in there... all of which are bad choices

get W7 Pro, a Razer DeathAdder Black Edition, Noctua case fans, use normal headphones along with a USB condenser mic (Audio Technica AT-2020, etc), and if you insist on a dedicated soundcard get an HT-OMEGA Claro Halo

is this any good?
3 times as high as the original poster's budget, and you do not need 3 SSD's.

but is it a good build though
yeah apart from the ssds
