ok yeah sorry for bump but dont you need thermal compound when installing a cpu?

The stock cooler will have it pre-applied, you just pull off a protective plastic sheet off the compound and install the cooler

Tried to keep it under $800, not that I'll ever be building it...

You need a better motherboard, with more PCI slots. I don't know why you'd go for a mini-itx motherboard if you're going to use a mid tower case, especially considering mini-itx usually trends on having fewer features and costing more than standard ATX boards. You also probably don't need the soundcard unless you're absolutely sure you need it, all motherboards come with a sound processor and you'd only get a card if you're an audiophile (and I don't think you are, on account of those $40 headphones)

Everything else looks good though

thanks for the help so far guys :D

No

You don't know this. He could be in a situation like me where wifi is his only option (I'm not going to lay an ethernet cord on the floor, and I can't run it through the walls because I live in an apartment)

Personally I prefer ATX over mATX because they have more expansion slots, but if you don't need that many, that looks fine
This is fine though, although maybe a bit spendy

I still don't know why you're trying to go for a smaller form factor. There's literally no benefit if you're not using a smaller size case to doing it. Not to mention, $160 on a motherboard is probably overkill for what you need

Get this, when you build it it will make it faster
