i've heard that they have a couple of family-run cheap game stores that sell all kinds of old games. i've heard of people buying a couple of "rare" games there for cheap, then ebay selling them back here for their american price ($100+)

Japan really isn't that weird, my Aunt's been their before and she said that it wasn't like all the crazy stuff that people post on the internet and that she found it actually pretty boring.

no there's certainly a lot of weird stuff there, you just have to look for it. but that's true for america as well.
