Why's that?

What if one of your songs gets popular, you try to put it for sale but friends upload it for free?

My problem, then. But I'm deciding to make them free for multiple reasons:

- No one's buying them anyway.
- It's a marketing tool; lure in listeners and followers with free stuff.
- Most of the stuff on there is crap anyway, and now that I'm improving, I'll charge for music that is actually good.

told you

Wat.
I told you that your music was crap and you gave me lip about how music is "subjective" instead of taking my advice.

I'm of a similar opinion to seventh. I don't really want to be rude because this is obviously something you have plenty of passion for, but it's just not that good. It isn't crap persay, but it's nothing that special. Certainly not something to make monthly threads about.

Don't stop making music, because you're going to get better at it if you keep working at it. But, don't act like making your own amateur music free is something worth talking about. I'm not using amateur as a derogative term either, it's just the truth

I appreciate that you're being honest with me, and I agree with you about the music. But the I have my own reasons for the topics and such, so leave those be.

So it would.
