I'm getting into making plushies and I figured I'd share some of my progress.
I'm making a life-sized, slightly modified version of
this OC with a shorter body, a slightly more filled-out (fatter) form, a wider ass, and a bigger head.

This is what I have so far. The lighter fabric looks gray, but it's actually a really nice desaturated green color, like in the reference. You can see my feet in the second picture to give you an idea of how big he's gonna be.
Right now there are 7 pieces in total including his underside (bottom of first picture), which I still have to pin and stitch. The rest of his pattern (sans his head) is finished and ready to be cut out; another 90 pieces in total counting claws and other small stuff. Once I get his belly stitched on I'll be adding the tip of his tail and his wings. I'm stitching him entirely by hand, with very thick, very strong upholstery thread and supersoft Minky fleece.
I've also made a couple small things as practice projects and as gifts, which I'll post later when I have the time to photograph them.
Any thoughts?
