Question about AR MAX for PS2

So I was messing around in PCSX2 with my AR MAX disc and I took a look at the console see the game title:

It's apparently TimeSplitters (U).

Any reason why this is? Is it to mask it from the PS2 or something?

I assume that all the non-licensed products for devices like the AR-DSi use that to allow the game to run. For example, the aforementioned AR-DSi uses Game & Watch Collection as a disguise.
