It has some pretty grim consequences even when you throw out all the exaggeration and journalistic misreporting that non-scientists create about climate change. Raising global temperatures basically messes with the ecology of everything, and causes fun stuff like extinctions and habitat destruction.

Ocean levels rise. Plants, algaes, micro-organismed start to die off. Herbivores start dieing off. Carnivores start deing off because they having to eat. Honey bees start dieing off. No more new plants. Agricultures get forgeted. Certain parts that are supposed to be cooler become warmer. Animals built for cold climates die off. Places that might be hot either get hotter or colder.
