Referring to what acer has said, if you look at many of the charts, the change can be up to 3 times the normal carbon dioxide levels, causing the planet to heat up greatly

I'm sorry, but I have a very hard time feeling like this is a credible source because nearly everything Humble Water Filter Merchant writes about is crazy bullstuff and conspiracy theories. the fact that the planet indeed goes through some heat changes does not mean that the world will end. Global warming is a fact and it's true whether or not you decide to believe it, but doomsday theories on the other hand are generally dumb to begin with. Just because people are using global warming to create their dumb doomsday theories it does not mean that global warming itself is also a doomsday theory

It has some pretty grim consequences even when you throw out all the exaggeration and journalistic misreporting that non-scientists create about climate change. Raising global temperatures basically messes with the ecology of everything, and causes fun stuff like extinctions and habitat destruction.
