Author Topic: Give me a phone I should get for $100  (Read 1821 times)

Yes, I'm aware the moto g is going to be on lte networks soon, but I'm just going to look at things for the time being and I'll get that if its my last priority. What phone should I get for $100, it needs to be on cdma and at least decent

Motorola is a terrible phone company.

Here's a breakdown of phone companies and how good/bad their products are.
(we talkin smartphones, if you cant buy a smartphone then dont step to me)

Motorola - stuff tier, always been stuff, always will be.
iPhone - pretty swaggy, works well with other iphone users, pretty simple to use, cant torrent stuff (without loving it up) and usually has an expected lifetime of about a year or two before you drop it or it stops working.
Nokia - bulletproof, will save your life if you have it in your top pocket and someone shoots you and it deflects bullets from your heart. Downside is that they aren't that good as a technology or w/e (like speed is stuff)
Blackberry - stuff tier. make you look like an outdated asshat.
HTC - very nicely made, everything is easy and clever to use. Will break after a while. I had one and it overheated often and the touch screen turned to stuff.

I cant think of any more phone companies but yeah like they're the main ones I see people with. I suggest an iPhone, Nokia or like some sony ericson/nokia stuff.
I got an iPhone 5 and its worked fine for the past year.

for the most part, they make good budget phones though, I broke my razr m and it was stuffty

I've had an HTC One X for two years now. The battery only lasts like 5 hours now, but otherwise it was a good phone. HTC is good

Nokia make good budget phones.
Motorola make stuff phones, don't bother going for them

the moto line isn't bad... in fact, the moto g is like the best budget phone you can buy ATM.

S5 is the way to go
ew

also, I think OP wants an off-contract phone?

I would go with an iPhone, it runs great, and can do most things a computer can do.

what a great suggestion for $100 off contract
