Author Topic: Told by friend that girl who likes me has to have lots of patience, why?  (Read 532 times)

A few study halls ago, my friends and I were just talking and someone brought up something about a girl who we are friends with, and he told me she would have to have a lot of patience to be friends with me and that got me a little angry but we didn't really get into a fight or something.

Now today, it was brought up and being calm, I just asked him why he said it. My other friend got into a good conversation with me, but the friend who I asked was trying to dodge the question and wasn't sure how to voice his opinions. Of course when someone asked if he liked my friend, he denied it but I have a feeling he does.

So my question is why would he say this, is he just trying to insult me or does he like my friend and is a bit jealous?

Probably just trying to insult you, and/or he's jealous.

looks like jealously to me

Well that really didn't answer his question at all, did it?

I don't know you in person, so I don't know what you're like and if you actually are someone who would try your patience or not.

So, I would assume it's a case of jealousy.
But it doesn't really matter what he thinks of you.

Well she seems like she likes me. I mean, we are really good friends so she accepts. I do try to be nice, but I don't let people run over me and stuff.

He doesn't want you to be interested in her and made up a lie about her. Seems to me like he is jealous and is trying to get her to stop liking you, so he can make a move. Don't get fooled OP. Confront the liar and tell him why he made up a lie. If you aren't completely sure it's a lie, confront the girl.

He's trying to steel that poon from you, you better assert your dominance by pissing on and/or around her, though I've heard that defecating has a better affect at warding off enemies.

Trust me, the chicks dig guys who piss on them.

But on topic, yeah it's probably just jealousy, and most likely Nobot's scenario, so I'd suggest going with his suggestions.

Heard it from a friend who..
