Author Topic: [PayPal] Does anyone knows how to pay with bank account?  (Read 1045 times)

I'm trying to buy something on amazon and I recently added my bak account. Now I always go to the 'credit card' menu when I try to buy something on amazon. Anyway to change this to bank account thingy or something?

I'm pretty sure PayPal prioritizes bank accounts for payment because it doesn't cost anything to draw from them directly, whereas credit (and debit) cards cost a fee to the people taking money (PayPal). I have the option to use my credit card, but it always defaults to bank.

But I don't see any option for it :/

didnt you get ripped off on the last transaction you had about 1 day ago?

PayPal uses my debit card as a first option. No fee.

I don't have a redit card....
Only bank account, thats what I am trying to find out.

On Amazon:

1. Go to think link ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/wallet?ie=UTF8&ref_=ya_wallet& )

2. Click add a payment method.

3. Click "Add a checking account"

4. You will now be able to select that as a payment method.

Nvm. Just seen your not in the US. And Amazon does not accept PayPal.

Also be advised that Amazon does not ship most of their things outside the US. You will want www.amazon.fr

It usually is set to bank first. And you have to manually select a card if you wanna use one.
If yours is backwards you just hit the other payment options link when checking out somewhere.

Businesses do not usually charge customers the fee, PayPal doesn't. Have you ever bought something with a credit card, and they said something along the lines of "There will be a $2.70 surcharge, is that okay?" They do that because it costs them money to accept that card, and they don't want to eat that loss. Similarly, many stores require you to purchase at least a certain amount of goods to pay with card for the same reason.

Oh wait... Nvm.
I just found something else called Skrill wich is much better anf actually works with paysafe.

Never had a surcharge for a credit card either lol

Most of my shopping is done online though, including food.

I had no trouble setting my bank up with paypal. I forget what the option is but you need the routing number and all that stuff from a check in order to do it.

What, It took me 5 minutes? PayPal took 3 days; Skrill also didn't need that retarted small money numbers thingy...

Which basically makes Skrill less secure. Which small numbers thingy? Also I never seen Skrill accepted anywhere. PayPal is globally accepted.
Except Google Market because forget you.
