charging $60 full game price (which they will, and you can quote me on this on release day), for a reskin of BF4 with ONLY aesthetic changes being made is pretty stuff.

and as I've stated before, when DICE releases or 'leaks' (using quotes as leaks today aren't they same as they were when the word originally came to meaning) footage of a game, chances are next to nothing at all will change on release day.

BF3 and BF4's betas were both clones of the release game with limited content.

bolded: you are assuming things which is bad because you dont want to assume something with absolutely no concrete evidence
they havent even announced the game truly officially, they just comfirmed that yea theyre working on it

italicized: a modder was searching through the battlelog files and found this because they happen to store that kind of thing on their service that they own weird huh

underlined: the leaked footage and gameplay wasnt even beta god damn youre dumb

why don't we talk about how stuff battlelog is and how whoever came up with it should be fired if they weren't already
Battlelog is the most unfathomably stupid creation of all time. There is no reason whatsoever they couldn't have just stuck stuff in a server browser and let the game launch normally.

it's using the same engine..  an engine so specifically designed for BF4.  notice all the similarities in UI, messages, animations when you watch the footage.  It's just a reskin, not to mention it's being made in a yea versus a 3-4 years of work on BF4.  It's just a reskin.

not sure what you're saying here and or what it pertains to but my point still holds.  videos/leaks are typically as close to release as you'll get from DICE

again i was just relating to the point above.  never did i say that this footage was beta gameplay.  just presenting DICE's past behavior and why i am making these assumptions.

you claimed dice leaked it.
doubtful.

bf3 and bf4s betas were basically the release game, i dont understand your point here. a beta implies its almost done but might have some more kinks to work out. they dont use beta like minecraft or other games do. they are tweaking the game a bit and giving players early access to it. i dont see the issue here.

Its not terrible (for me because I play console) because it keeps track of all my stats

i actually really like battlelog except for the absence of party voice chats. they removed that functionality for some reason so i have to use steamchat now. but its a really good server browser, its good for all my stats and info, and it allows me to customize all my stuff pretty easily too. the only problem is that it makes my web browser a bit slow too.

knee-deep in development
I don't think you really understand how "knee-deep" is used

it's terrible on PC because it makes you launch a loving browser window before any other part of the game. even the godawful singleplayer (though why the hell would you ever play the Battlefield 3/4 campaign).

I always play the campaign for these games
I know it's gonna be bad and all but like
I just feel weird if I don't

why does it matter you clearly understand my intentions
trivial pointing out at best
they were and probably still are heavily developing it

i dont see the issue here as my web browser is always open

using a web browser shows how lazy there ui designers are, we shouldn't have to use a browser to join servers.

that's not the loving point.

you shouldn't have to launch a goddamn browser window to play a game, period

is it bad i kind of like the bf3 campaign

Depends on the aspect. I've heard the story is poorly written and complete nonsense.

As for personal experience, I've only played 5 minutes of it because I went in expecting a shooter and got a rhythm game with guns.
